The Jane

They're turning away people by the dozens at The Jane Hotel, but it's not because they've exceeded the 270-person capacity in the lobby bar (aka The Jane). Nope. They're just "being selective" and let's just say press credentials don't hurt.
Inside the bar's three spaces, we saw empty chairs, hipsters, bridge+tunnelers, party-girl-aspirees, and a few regular people. The Age range was mixed, but the loungey vibe and the outside crowd suggests this place will be young if they ever let anyone in. We're confident The Jane is AABM (that's Age Appropriate Before Midnight, a new acronym we have a feeling we'll be using a lot) at best, but we'll go back to confirm. Beers, btw, are mostly $8, and they have $6 Bud bottles. Not sure what to make of that.
