We 30-somethings do not appreciate the notion that every single woman over the age of 30 is a cougar. We're interested in rebranding. But, as you can imagine, if we stick with the cat theme, the tamer appellations are equally unappealing (think: Goldfinger character).
We're searching for the perfect word to define The Anti-Cougar. Your suggestions are appreciated (preferably in comments below).
In other glossary news, you probably know that a few days ago Merriam-Webster added more than 100 entries to the latest edition of its Collegiate Dictionary. Fortunately they still define cougar as "a large powerful tawny-brown cat (Felis concolor) formerly widespread in the Americas but now reduced in number or extinct in many areas."30-to-Midnight intends to extinguish whatever may still exist.
