We've got (more) mail to share. This information comes from Christina S:
In my neighborhood (Boerum Hill), most of Smith Street should be
avoided at all costs except for Angry Wade's (sports bar-ish but
friendly bartenders and patrons) and Bar Great Harry every now and
then. I have also felt Age Appropriate at the Brazen Head on Atlantic Avenue and Pete's Waterfront Ale House (also on Atlantic, though that
can skew towards people with kids eating dinner and old drunks
lingering at the bar but good food and nice bartenders).
Good tips. Smith Street is an area we know well (Sara lived nearby before returning to Manhattan via Dumbo), and generally find to be AABM. Slowly we'll be adding Brooklyn Heights / Cobble Hill / Boerum Hill to our commentary. For now, thanks again to Christina.
