If that exterior photo makes you think of 21 Club, you have a sense of what Bill's is like: Age Appropriate, many men, some strands of pearls, no jeans or sneakers. To be fair, Bill's doesn't have a dress code, but we think you get our point. It was damn busy at this hour, most drinking done at tables (dinner served until 11:30pm), and there was singing (Happy Birthday to an AA). Our favorite thing about this historic, old New York bar, besides the fact that it doesn't feel tainted like Pete's, and that it's totally AA, is the fact that it closes at 1:30am.
