Gramercy Park Hotel Roof Club and Garden
2 Lexington Ave. (21st St.), Manhattan
We had a sick meal at Mialino (also in the Gramercy Park Hotel) then elevated and walked up to the Roof Bar, which was mostly empty and completely lovely, as evidenced by this captivating photo. If they can manage to keep it mostly empty and completely AA (which it was) we'll be back. You can reserve sections for group gatherings, which could be nice if, again, the rest of the space is not jam-packed. Because we like our jam a little thin. We like jelly.

ooh! if i may? because of the extraordinary adventure of pineapple-whatsis and bloody mary hoosis ... it prompted me to go there YET AGAIN with other willing accomplices.
wednesday night.
missed the president's SOTU. still have the gist of what's up with that ...
we did go to the rooftop and it was beautiful. great service - not overbearing. and if you like art? well. don't ask the waitstaff/hostess about it.
but go look around.
hirst, schnabel, warhol, basquiat to name a few ... lovely.
maybe they will even invest in the up and coming artist kirsten kindler (http://www.adagallery.com/Kirsten_Kindler.html) as a feature piece. who knows...
rooftop = yes.
grey goose/extra dry/twist = super yes.
pink 75 = yes.
pineapple martinis = yummy but ouch.

I'd say you're more dangerous than depraved, and I mean that in the FunIsSoGood way.
