Lagasse's Stadium
The Palazzo, Las Vegas
As far as Las Vegas Sports Books go, Lagasse's Stadium (yes, that Lagasse - Bam!) is pretty great.
They say there are more than 100 TV's, plus a giant 9X16' screen facing a hill of leather sofas (above the actual betting area), with numerous semi-private seating areas (meaning you choose what game is on your own tv) and a few private-private areas. Reservations are essential if you don't want to miss the first quarter on the stand-by line. Here, besides advance planning, is the main reason why it's Age Appropriate: $50 minimum per person per game anywhere but the bar areas. The food isn't the best, and unless you're a local (including southern California) chances are your game's sound will Not be on, but it's comfortable and fun and you're old enough to know you're spending $50 per game anyway. Go Giants!
